We have a new addition to our family. I know, I said I would NEVER have another pet, let alone a dog. But, I succumbed to peer pressure and gave in. When Bryan joined in with the kids I knew I had lost. At first we were going to get a sweet, easy going, loving cat. But we figured, why take the easy route, lets dive in head first. It's sink or swim from this point on!Saber joined our family last night. He is a pure bred yellow lab, almost 9 weeks old. We made it through our first night with only a little whelping. He's only had one accident on our carpet so far. This will be his last accident on my carpet since he is now confined to our mud room until he is more reliable in the potty area. I've gotta draw the line somewhere... :)
The kids absolutely adore him and if Saber can live through all the attention I will consider this an accomplishment. He is super cute and I have to admit even my cold heart is softening toward him.
Let me know what you think and any advice will be readily consumed!

Holy cow!!! I never would have thought you would have done it. But I can see how easily Saber could melt your heart. He is adorable!!! Great, I can hear the beggings coming from Sebastian already. LOL!! Congrats to you guys! We'll have to set up a time to come over and play :D
Oh.... he is so dang cute! I bet it's like Christmas morning everyday for your boys right now!! My boys would love to come see him. We will have to have another get together so they can meet Saber!
What the Hell?!! You will regret the day you got that horse of a dog. Sure they're cute and cuddly puppies. But they grow up to be chow hounds that eliminate more than they eat (and they eat a lot). I hope if Bryan was part of the manipulative plot to over through mom, he is the designated pooper scooper.(for a second there you thought Gary posted this, huh) oh well, he's part of the family now. It's like trying to get rid of one of your kids. They find their way back home. Congrats!!:)
