Avery and I took some pictures in a local pumpkin patch. She was so excited to see so many pumpkins of all sizes! It was hard to peel her away when it was time to go :)

What's wrong with the media?

Here's an excellent article written by Orson Scott Card (of Ender's Game fame), about the dearth of responsible journalism in the main-stream media.

This is a great article by a Democrat calling out the liberal press in spectacular fashion. Of course, when 8 out of 10 journalists are liberal Democrats, how can one not expect to encounter harshly biased "news" stories.

I'm neither a Bush nor a McCain supporter. I don't have a dog in this fight. But the job of professional journalists is to chronicle factual information about current events. That's clearly not the case with the main-stream media, and hasn't been for a long time.

Cahleb's Blessing Day

Cameron did an awesome job blessing Cahleb. It was a really nice day with family. One thing that was different about the day was all of the snow! We were throwing snowballs at each other in the church parking lot. The kids thought that was great!!
